After over 2 years, the 40 frame has had a full makeover. United took the frame back to Kye and Leo's roots and wanted to produce something that was more at home on the trails than anywhere else. Integrated gussets, fully tapered tubeset, round ended stays, and a new built-in chain tensioner are just a few of the things United switched up on here. The older build-in seat clamp was an area they were not happy with, so United worked on a new brazed version that provides not only a better look, but a stronger junction, re-shaped the BB and headtube, and raised up the standover. Not one area of this frame was left un-touched. End result is a clean, simple frame.
